Processing effects used in Trailer

I am starting to re-edit my trailer from the first upload of it I did a few weeks ago. I am in the process of making it more 'straight to the point' and clearer for the audience when it comes to the genre and plot behind this film.

First print screen is from the first section of the trailer and shows a more vibrant, colourful contrasted image compared to the second print screen in the second section of the trailer that is portraying a less saturated composition. This is because I want to make it clear to the audience that something has happened to the character since the first opening shots of the trailer. A change has taken place, a dark change, hence the duller colours nearing the end.
